Take Linguaskill from home
Linguaskill Remote allows candidates to take the Linguaskill test from home or from another suitable space, such as an office, using their own equipment.
The system uses advanced proctoring features to replace the need for an in‑person invigilator. During the test, video and image data, audio, and event logs are used to monitor your session and ensure exam security at all times.
The Linguaskill Remote journey
Below is the step‑by‑step process you will follow when taking Linguaskill Remote:
Before registering, make sure your computer, headphones and microphone meet the minimum technical requirements.
Confirm that Linguaskill Remote is accepted by the institution(s) where you plan to submit your results.*
*Some institutions only accept results from a face‑to‑face session.

You must choose either:
- AM slot: 09:00 – 13:00
- PM slot: 13:00 – 17:00
A few days before your test, you will receive a confirmation email containing:
- Your login details
- The Linguaskill Remote Candidate Instructions Booklet
- Terms and Conditions
- Notice to Candidates
Follow the instructions in your email to download the secure exam browser.
You must perform a full technical check at least 24 hours before your test to ensure everything is working properly.
On the day of your choosing, take the test in your selected time slot.
Your results will be available within 6–8 working days from the date of your exam.
Once results are published, you will be able to download your digital certificate (PDF).
