What is Cambridge English Qualifications Digital? The Digital test incorporates an evaluation system for exams carried out online using a computer. This option is complementary and represents an alternative to the usual use of pencil and paper. In this context, exams in digital format increase the options for Preparation Centres and candidates, multiplying both the number of available dates and the possible exam locations The flexibility that the new platform incorporates also allows shorter deadlines for the publication of results and tighter registration periods.

Available from A2 Key to C2 Proficiency, Cambridge English Qualifications Digital provide an enhanced exam experience and a faster, flexible way to get a Cambridge English Qualification. They test the same knowledge and skills as paper-based exams, with digital features to help you take control and perform at your best.
Our exam centres were pioneers in the implementation and development of Cambridge English exams on computers and are experts in the organization of digital tests. Since the first computer sessions in 2009 and throughout this time, we have actively collaborated in the development and improvement of the digital option. Cambridge English has recognized this work and the excellence of the service on several occasions, awarding Exams Catalunya in 2015 for its 'Innovative Technological Development'.
The format of the exams doesn't change and continues to provide candidates with an interface that is easy and intuitive to navigate. Cambridge English Qualifications Digital offer candidates:

You can practice with digital activities to familiarise with the particularities of the exam for the best chance of success. Be aware that digital exams check the same things as the paper-based exams. Candidates and teachers don't need to change the way they study or teach. Candidates are able to choose to take their Cambridge English Digital exam most weeks of the year and in multiple locations. Dates and locations are avilable in our web page and you can view them on our exam calendar.

Secure, reliable, and straightforward
Secure:
tasks are randomised, so people taking exams in the same room have different versions. This randomisation means fewer malpractice issues and secure, fair, on demand testing.
Reliable: candidates only need to be connected to the internet at the start and end of the exam. If candidates lose connection in between, the exam submission won’t be affected.
