 
Ben
Knight | Ben Knight joined Cambridge University Press two years ago and is now their Director of Language Research and Consultancy. One of his key interests is to develop the way CUP invests in research to improve the effectiveness of its learning materials. He also works closely with Cambridge English Language Assessment to enable the two university departments to offer an integrated service to teachers and organisations around the world.
Ben has taught EFL in six countries, across three continents. He later became a specialist in assessment, working for Cambridge English Language Assessment (then UCLES) and City & Guilds. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Linguistics.

Neus
Lorenzo | Born in 1959, Neus Lorenzo has 25 years of teaching experience in the classroom, and 20 of teacher training, university research and educational leadership. She is now Inspector of education and Head of the Foreign Language Service in the Catalan Education Department.
She coordinates national and international programmes for multilingualism and social cohesion.
Neus Lorenzo is co-founder of The Transformation Society Institute for training and research, together with Ray Gallon.

| John Pidcock is responsible for the training and coordination of
Cambridge speaking test examiners/raters in the Middle East and North
Africa. He has written various course books for Cambridge English
examinations and was responsible for course organisation and curriculum
planning at the British Council Barcelona for 15 years.
John has worked in fields such as drama, CALL, and video and he also does TESOL educational consultancy work.

Tom
Wogan | After working in Italy, Holland and Germany for some time Tom Wogan moved to Spain in 1993 and has remained here since. He currently works as both a Cambridge English consultant for Catalonia and as a teacher for the EIM (Escola d'Idiomes Moderns) at the UB, specialising in exam preparation courses. Before working for Cambridge Tom worked for a major publisher as a commercial representative and as a teacher trainer.
His expertise and knowledge of both teaching and of the Cambridge English system is invaluable and he will be sharing his insight with us at this session.

Sarah
Johnston | Sarah Johnston started her teaching career in Barcelona in 1985. She
completed her CAP (Certificat d'Aptitud Pedagògica) and then went on to
do her RSA (now DELTA). She is the DOS at Big Ben Idiomes Barcelona
where she has been working since 1987. Sarah is a Speaking Examiner Team
Leader for CPE, CAE, FCE, BEC, PET, KET and YLE and has worked with
Cambridge Exams for almost 25 years. She has also recently become a WE
(writing examiner).
She has been teaching exam classes for many
many years to students of all ages and has prepared students for all the
Cambridge Exams. |

Graham
Ward | Graham Ward BA MA has been working as a Cambridge English teacher in
Barcelona since 1997. He is the Head of English at the Fundació
Collserola school group and as such is responsible for preparing
candidates for all Cambridge English exams from Young Learners to
Proficiency.
Graham has worked as a Cambridge Speaking Examiner
since 2000, has been a Cambridge Team Leader since 2008 and started as a
Cambridge Presenter in 2012.

Brian
Engquist | Brian Engquist has spent the last 20 years as an English teacher and
teacher trainer in Spain. He often speaks about Blended Learning,
Game-Based Learning, Digital Transformation, and the evolving roles of
teachers and students.
More interested in the social consequences
of technology than the technology itself, he hopes his talks place the
emphasis on the C in ICT. |

| | Jane Delaney works as a primary school teacher in Tarragona and has also
worked in secondary education. She is an ex Director of Studies and
language school Director. She also works as a teacher trainer, Local
Organiser, Team Leader and presenter for Cambridge English. She is very
interested in getting teenagers to talk and write! |

Anne
Dwyer | | Anne Dwyer is a sociologist specialized in the field of effective
communication (communicology). In addition to a DELTA, Anne has a
Masters in Communication Management from the UAB, Barcelona, a Masters
in Social Sciences from Bremen, Germany and a BA in Sociology and German
from Wellington, NZ. Anne runs courses, consults and coaches in
Communication and Soft Skills: Organizational, Interpersonal,
Intercultural, Negotiation and PR, mostly at the Barcelona campus of
European University. Anne also runs seminars in Interpersonal
Communication and Corporate Writing for the ESADE Masters programs. Anne
has collaborated with ESADE for many years, working with executives,
professionals, business students and teachers alike.
Anne has attended international conferences and workshops both as
presenter and participant and has published a number of articles on
communication and effective pedagogy and also wrote the book Skills for
Business English 3 (Delta, 2001) |

Kieran
Donaghy | Kieran Donaghy is a teacher, trainer and award-winning writer based in Barcelona with a special interest in the use of film in education.
Kieran is the co-author of Films in Health Sciences Education and his website on the use of film in language teaching Film English http://film-english.com/ won a British Council ELTons Award for Innovation in Teacher Resources in 2013.

Eleanor
Walker | Eleanor Walker started he career in TEFL just over ten years ago when
she first moved to Spain. She has experience teaching the full range of
Cambridge exams, from very young learners to teens and adults. More
recently she has turned her attention to the upper main suite exams
regularly provides teacher training both here and in Seville for FCE,
CAE and CPE preparation.
She worked for five years as the Director of
Studies in Seville before moving to Barcelona just over a year ago and
has recently opened her own academy. |

Alito
Rodgers
| Alito Rodgers Jr. is a Teacher Trainer, Researcher and EFL teacher. For twelve consecutive years, he was coordinator, researcher and teacher of the EFL Project Aprendizaje Precoz de una Lengua Extranjera en la Escuela Pública. He has been training teachers for more than 15 years, doing courses and workshops all over Spain in Centros de Formación de Profesores, Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas, Escuelas de Magisterio and Universities.
Alito is a professional actor and directs both children and adolescents learning English through theatre. In addition to his training in the field of education, he holds two degrees: Boston University, Acting and New York University, Master’s in Spanish-American Literature.
